Our Aviation experience is largely focused on the complexities of airport logistics in regards to industrial settings and it’s relation to commerce and shipping applications. We are then able to tie this support in with customer facing design and ancillary spaces to meet our clients visual and budgetary expectations. Amazon Air Hub and Gateway Facility
Location: Hebron, KY (CVG)
Ground-up 820,000 sf Phase 1 structure represents approx. 30% of the proposed total build-out and will serve as a warehouse for receiving/processing product brought in from the main airport ramp. Several ancillary buildings are contained onsite, including a separate recruitment/pilot/ramp crew support/site entry building, GSE maintenance and storage facilities and apron side remote break room buildings. The Air/Ground Hub campus will be considered the flagship air cargo terminal for the client.
United Airlines Cargo Facility
Location: Newark, NJ (EWR)
225K SF air cargo facility providing off airport location for United Cargo to operate out of. The final design includes programing for 20K SF of offices supporting corporate conference rooms and suites, export import operations, temperature controlled storage, TSA inspection support spaces, and general warehouse associates’ amenities and training rooms.
United Airlines Provisioning Facility
Location: Newark, NJ (EWR)
60K SF within a larger 225K SF airline cargo facility providing an off airport location for United Provisioning to operate within. The final design includes programing for 8K SF of offices supporting corporate conference rooms and suites and flight build processing space within the warehouse operations area. The scope of work within the warehouse areas involved coordination of specific racking and operations programs optimized to align with an existing developer shell to maximize United’s program requirements. This includes specialty coordination of flight ready build staging, automation production flow coordination and warehouse storage analysis aligned to code requirements for workforce egress and life safety.
Amazon Gateway Facility
Location: Wilmington, OH (ILN)
Interior fit-out and site development of an existing 1,200,000+ sf two-story warehouse facility to support new material handling equipment, truck loading and GSE vehicle charging within the building. Work included demolition, alteration and additions to the existing warehouse and office facilities, removal of two existing structures in the proposed truck yard, two additions for truck loading, and one addition for a main associate entry. Site improvements included parking for 800+ associates, truck container parking, a new recessed yard for 30+ truck dock bays, associated site lighting, and a guard shack for inbound trucking.
